Engine and Drivetrain
All four grades share one powertrain. Choosing a grade is not a power decision.
Nissan’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive continuously monitors road conditions and can quickly respond to help provide traction on wet or slick surfaces. Every 2027 Kicks gets the 12.3-inch NissanConnect touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth, illuminated steering-wheel audio controls, and AM/FM/SiriusXM with a three-month subscription included.
The SR adds a second 12.3-inch screen for the driver display, creating Nissan’s dual-display layout. The available Bose Personal Plus system puts 10 speakers in the cabin, including UltraNearfield speakers in the front headrests.

Both the SR and Rock Creek add the Intelligent Around View Monitor, which stitches four camera views into a 360-degree overhead image. Both also add Rear Automatic Braking and front and rear sonar. Nissan Safety Shield 360 is available on these two grades.
Exclusive to the SR
The SR is the only 2027 Kicks offered with ProPILOT Assist. It is a hands-on system that combines Intelligent Cruise Control with steering assist. Its stop-and-hold function can bring the vehicle to a full stop in traffic, hold it there, and resume when traffic moves again.
The SR also uses Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention in place of Blind Spot Warning, and Intelligent Lane Intervention in place of Lane Departure Warning. Traffic Sign Recognition is an SR feature as well.

The functional additions are the point. An exclusive Off-Road drive mode allows additional wheel slip to help the vehicle keep momentum on loose surfaces like gravel, sand, and snow. Hill Descent Control manages speed on steep descents. The roof rails and crossbars are rated to carry 165 pounds, which covers bikes, kayaks, or a rooftop carrier.
