Every 2026 Sentra is powered by a 2.0-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder engine producing 149 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 146 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm, paired with a retuned Xtronic CVT and front-wheel drive. Nissan refined the CVT for 2026 to deliver smoother, more natural acceleration, and a Sport drive mode is available on SV, SR, and SL trims for sharper throttle response and sportier shifting patterns. The Sentra also features an independent multi-link rear suspension and a unibody that is 6% more rigid than its predecessor, contributing to confident handling and a composed ride whether you’re commuting through Corona or cruising through Rancho Cucamonga.
