We
are proud to host the 19th Annual Oremor Automotive Group Choral
Competition. The original idea for the Choral Competition came
when RJ Romero, President of Oremor Automotive Group, attended his
niece's singing event during the holiday season. He wanted to
provide an opportunity for local High School choirs to showcase their
talents and also allow them to earn resources for their choir
programs. As a result, the First Annual Choral Competition
began in 1992. The former Ontario mayor and current County
Supervisor, Gary Ovitt, has served as our Master of Ceremonies for more
than 13 years. The choirs will began their competition by
visiting FIAT of Ontario and then move on to Empire Nissan. The grand
finale was held at Romero Hyundai, Mazda. Attendees to the
event cast their vote for the best school and votes are counted by the
dealership's accountants. This years participants included Colony High
School, Fontana High School, and Jurupa Valley High School. Each school
is a winner and receives
a monetary prize to benefit their school's Choral Group
Program. Congratulations to this years winner, Jurupa Valley High School. |
